Our unique learning approach
At Hands On: Homestead Learning Community, we embrace a hands-on, literature-based unit study, Charlotte Mason-inspired philosophy. Our programs thoughtfully integrate Language Arts, Math, Science, and History with practical skills like gardening, cooking, animal science, woodworking, art, homesteading, and life skills.
Flexible scheduling for every family
We understand the diverse needs of families and offer flexible attendance options to best support your child's educational journey. Our programs cater to students in grades TK-6th, with plans to expand to 7th grade and up next year.
Monday - Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, Los Gatos.
Friday field trips and outdoor education
Every Friday is an adventure day! From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., we explore various locations across the Bay Area for enriching field trips and outdoor education. These experiences foster a deep connection with nature and provide unique learning opportunities. Fridays are $125 per day.

Private school option: full-time immersion as well as part time options.
For families seeking a comprehensive educational experience, our private school full time option runs:
Monday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This full-time program offers a deeply immersive learning environment across all subjects and activities. Monthly tuition for this option is $2,000 per month.
We also offer part time enrollment options Monday-Friday based on availability.
Monday-Thursday-drop off only-9:30-3:30-$100 per day
Friday-drop off or parent chaperone-10:00-3:00-$125 per day
